Description
Bejeweled 2 is the award-winning sequel to the best-selling puzzle game, Bejeweled. This stunning color-matching game is more wildly addictive than ever before! Bejeweled 2 takes the classic game of gem-swapping to euphoric new heights.
Players must match the colored jewels in lines of three horizontally or vertically to clear them from the board. Lines of four jewels are awarded with a Power Gem whilst lines of five award the much sought-after Hyper Cube. Both special jewels trigger their own unique jewel-clearing devices.

Bejeweled 2 includes other modes of play that weren't included in the original: You have a choice of Classic, Puzzle, Timed, and Endless. The music sounds as good as can be expected with teeny little Pocket PC speakers. It probably sounds better with headphones, but it seems to have been designed with small Pocket PC speakers in mind. You can turn off music and sound effects in the game options, or adjust the volumes separately. There are also graphics options you can fiddle with for different types of effects. If you've never played Bejeweled before, or have the original and want to know what else the newer version offers, I suggest trying the demo. The demo has limits on what level you can get to, but the Puzzle mode was interesting and different enough from the original that I decided to pay for the full version. There is also a Bejeweled 2 for Windows Mobile 2003 and earlier. I assume the Windows Mobile 5.0 version is made to be more efficient with WM 5.0.
